    Default Human vs Drow fvs

I have access to 32 point builds.

Would a human or drow be better?

    Human - 32 pts
    Str 8
    Dex 10
    Con 14
    Int 10
    Wis 18
    Cha 14
    (2+6+2+16+6)

    Drow
    Str 8
    Dex 10
    Con 12
    Int 10
    Wis 18
    Cha 16
    (6+16+6)

So, 2 points of Con vs 2 points of Chr? Or should I be putting the extra points past 12 Chr into something else?

    Thanks

    Default my points

I have Monk/Sorc/FvS and my stats are as below

Human - tried but did not like

    Drow:

    Str 10
    Con 12
    Dex 14
    Int 16
    Cha 14
    Wis 14

either @ 1st or 3rd lvl take weapon finesse. Dps will still B a factor but if U hit more often, it should not B a problem. Dex must be 13+ for Dodge. I normally take Luck of Heroes (must B taken @ creation) for the Save bonus. There are enough enhancements, etc to easily raise Cha and Wis but you get more initially skill points from high Int. The 12 Con is 4 the +1 to Fort save.

Are you just wanting to be a battlecaster/healer? I would guess so since your str is only 8, I would say go with the human the extra feat and extra hp is more useful then a few more sp, also a tiny bit more skill points as well

I think you have way to much on int and with a 14 dex you missing out on twf also really dont need that much cha, as it sounds like you want to do some melee combat you wont have enough dps or hp to stay in there fighting you combat spells wont land with that wis, I think your trying to do to much ie melee/combat caster/healer should really try and pick 1 or two of those and not for all three. Also not sure why you are tossing sorc into mix for.

    Human for sure.

Extra feat, extra skills, and an extra +1 to two different stats are way better than anything from Drow.

I settled on human and stuck the extra 2 points in strength.

I'm glad I did, since I still have to kill things when soloing at low levels, and the only offensive spell so far is command.

I have a hard enough time hitting and damaging things with out an extra -1 to hit and damage.

    Default Well...

    Uska,
I did this build with very little information about the FvS that was relatively new. My comp and/or internet has been either out of commission or inadequete 4 most of Beta. So, there could be alot of faults as I have yet to get to high end content (could not play alot 4 last 15 mos).

Still, I tend 2 B more skills based than alot of people. This has unseen combat advantages as I am rarely caught by surprise and a high tumble makes me practically unhittable. Also, my Concentrate is high enough that I can cast even in close combat. So, even Burning Hands (1st lvl Wiz, Sorc) does significant damage. I am still torn on the advantage of TWF for the Monk and I hv my 1st-3rd feats already slottted (Dodge and Luck of Heroes [needed 4 evasion] and Weapon Finesse).

    THX 4 the input, though

TWF is a must on monks you dont get the normal minus for off hand when fighting unarmed and if you use kamas you will generate much more KI.

OP: I see you were debating the stats, personally, if I needed an extra feat, I would go Human, but if you dont' need the extra feat, go drow.
