    I have the same problem, but I installed a dx 10 capable card after installing the game.

    Hmmm I have the option on my screen, do you have dx10 installed(silly question I know and that you proably do) maybe you need to reinstall ddo(I hope not)

    When I duel someone I like to dual wield. with my rouge wearing rogue.

    I do have dx10 installed. The options are in the game, they are just greyd out. I do know my video card can handle dx10 and it has drivers with dx10 support. That's what makes me think the game loads a whole slew of different stuff when you have dx capabilities.

    Edit "UserPreferences.ini" file in "My Documents\Dungeons and Dragons Online" folder (Backup the original first).

    In [Render] section, change "GraphicsCore" to "D3D10"

    So it reads:
    Code:
    ...
    [Render]
    GraphicsCore=D3D10
    ...
    Save the file and see if you have the option enabled.

    If that does not help, rename the "UserPreferences.ini" file to "oldUserPreferences.ini" (or something else)
    to force the game to reconfigure the game.

    Thank you for that information. I will try it when I am at my home machine and see if it works. In the meantime, I will spread the gospel. LOL

    The only 100% way to get DX 10 working in the game is reinstalling it. At least, from my experience.
