Turbine points missing

I know it has only been 24 hours (+/-) since this went live but has there been any comment or info from Devs about when we can expect to see our missing Turbine points??

By all the calcs I do based on Turbines info, I should get 2999 and so far I have exactly 600 (250=bets, 250=used beta store, 100=favor).
No points for being a vet from March 2006 or anything else.

I did file a report and am patiently waiting but I have seen nothing today.

Otherwise, mixed bag on the release. A lot of awesome game tweaks, so far like the new quests and area, lag for me seems better, whats with the hidden spell nerfs (haste???).

The only thing about these points that makes me say *** is they have had forever to take care of this prior to launch. They even had some free time between going gold and launch. How can these points get so screwed up? They cant be that hard to calc and apply as many people got everything they were promised.

Any reply would be nice.

I did and have not seen any replies since yesterday on it. I know they specifically mention the 999 for being subbed on a certain date but they make no mention of the VIP/years of service points.

I am not panicking, just keeping it front and center.

I mostly believe they will take care of it EVENTUALLY, but how long should we have to wait? If we dont keep asking, will they let this slip?

I remember when the Auction was first launched and they had a MAJOR snafu. If you did not enter a buyout amount, someone could buy out your item for ZERO gold. It happened to me (like many others) and I even called and spoke with someone at Turbine who assured me they would take care of it and I would be compensated. Not to worry as they could track this stuff but NOTHING ever came of it. No items returned, no coin, no letter in the mail box saying sorry, nothing, nada zip. This after they told us (me directly from a real live human) that they would get it sorted out, not to worry.

But still, why does this have to be fleshed out now, its not like they haven't had enough time to calc these and apply them and some people have all of theres so what gives?

So, I will keep politely asking whats up until this gets resolved. And by resolved I mean everyone who is owed (because Turbine promised it, not because were special or its a god given right) gets every point Turbine promised. Period.

I am and always will be dis-trust-ful (stupid filter) of Turbine when they say something will happen.

So... Devs, any word on this yet?
Are you working on it and getting each player one by one and it will just take time to get everyone? Wait my turn patiently?
Are you scratching your heads wondering what happened and how to fix it?
Are you ignoring it hoping it goes away?
A little more information for those of us waiting please.

One more point....

I realize they are still hammering out some server launch/connection issues and that obviously is a priority.

But as we are constantly reminded by Turbine and players alike, forum mods don't do customer service, tech guys don't do customer service, coders don't do customer service, etc... So it most likely isn't the same folks who are troubleshooting the technical glitches as would be the same group working on getting the points out.

If you didn't have your points and have received them now, post here and tell the rest of us. Give us hope.

I'm even more worried than the OP.

Last night I logged in for a few minutes just to check things out, I looked at the store and saw that I had the 1500 promised points for being a longtimer (though no beta points as the dev post implied I wouldn't).

Today... no points at all. Gone. Woosh.

I checked my purchase history and there isn't some crazy bug where I bought 100 potions or anything.

Anyone else see points there and then they disappeared?

Or is everyone just saying they never got them at all and I'm alone on this one?

Well, seeing that Turbine will do 'Scheduled'(More like emergency if you ask me) Maintenence soon, they should hopefully be able to fix the point problems that people have been having.

And think about it...the server is open to VIP's, beta and premium players only at the moment, and I got a feeling that wont even be 30% of the total population coming into DDO:EU. Its best for us to celebrate and enjoy the game while we still can, because on 09/09/09...I got this uncanny feeling that the servers are going to have all sorts of problems, specifically lag, point distribution, access to certain features such as the auction house, and unexpected server crashes. Turbine might just be up to their eyeballs in problems. And for those of us who have played DDO for a while now, you know how long it takes for Turbine just to fix a small problem...

Unfortunately it's hard to tell exactly where the missing points are from. I didn't get all of mine.....but I had over 2k.....with my retro favor etc it's hard to tell exactly what is missing...but I know that I didn't get the 999 yet.

I think I also missed out on the used the store in beta points because that makes the most sense. I obviously got the full 1500 (I got to many for anything else), and I am pretty sure I got the was in beta reward...but I think I'm missing the 250 for using the store in beta (all I bought was potions during the evens that said "buy potions now" but still I used the store).

I'm not massively worried about the 250 though as long as I get the 999 eventually. Since I didn't expect to get retro favor points at all....(I havn't even logged in to the other servers and gotten those favor boosts yet) I'm very happy.

But it does seem like there are problems giving players all the rewards right now. Hopefully this will get fixed eventually.

I'm a bit ....unhappy...with waiting all the way till my next subscription to get my monthly favor as well. I think we should all get the Favor on the anniversary of DDO EU going live if we have VIP status as apposed to waiting till our subscriptions renew. I just had my monthly date end on the 27th so now I have to wait almost a whole month for my 500 points. I have extra points so it's no huge deal....but it's annoying since it pretty much means i'm a month behind in getting my points

Did you have alll your points right away on Monday or did they get issued i nthe past 2 days?

On the 1st I had 1650 points. 150 of that wound up coming from favor I'd gained, the other 1500 is one of two things: having a 2+ year old account (which is 1500) or having purchased 1500 points in Beta. I have no way of knowing which of those two it is.

Today, the 3rd, I have 2649 points, so I've obviously received the 999 for being an active subscriber on July 31st.

I am, however, still missing 2000 points: the *other* 1500 I'm due (since I dunno which I've gotten already), plus 250 for being in beta and 250 for using the store in beta. I'd petitioned about those missing points on the 2nd, and the answer was to please give them until the 9th to work through all the point hand-outs, so that's what I'll do (since I'm in no dire need of points atm).

My point issue might be attributed to having my beta subscription separate from my live subscription, as seemed to have happened to many others. I'm just kinda leary about spending ANY of my points until I have ALL my points... I don't want that to potentially screw it up for me.

Shazzie, thank you very much for the detailed information. I will check as soon as I get home from work to see if they have been applied today but as of midnight (cst) last night, I still have only my 600.

It is nice that you got some kind of hint to give them until 9/9 but they really should make a public announcement about this (We know you havent yet received the points weve been dangling in your face for months but please give us until the 9th to hand them all out). I am not the only one, make a public post with a little more info than they have so far. (no, there info on the load in screen stating not all points have been given especially the 999 from being subed on July 31st did not mention that players wait until the 9th. The dont make any mention ofthe VIP longevity points either)

My concern with the wait until the 9th before panicking is that this is a 3 day holiday weekend here in the states and then one day then all hell breaks loose on the 9th. I am not confident they will have the time (with one real day left until launch) to get this done.

Anyway, I will check when I get home.

I noticed it is a stickied post but it really needs to fall in the dev tracker as well.

Since I cant read every section I read the:
- Dev Tracker (anything important should be here right???)
- New Posts ( where the news de juer is)

I know a lot of other people rely on these two tools to peruse the site for the latest info & discussions. Is this out of line to expect this topic to be tracked in Dev tracker?
