Launcher says connection attempt failed. 59 secs till retry failed...rinse repeat. Down already or what????

Check your firewall settings (if you have one) to make sure that the DDO launcher (dndlauncher.exe) is in the exception list. I have to do this every time there is a patch (including the last one)!

Didnt see other thread looked a couple pages into new posts, but I see it now. Finally got in several tries later. Hope this gets fixed sometimes I only have a few mins to log on and get something done.
