I grabbed Wail and Mass Hold at 17 on my wizard. Wail is ****ING AWESOME! as long as not being used in the new content, where it hardly does anything (saves are a bit too high out there).
In the Vale and Shroud however, Wail is great! I haven't had that much fun clearing portals in a long time!
Mass Hold has been working more consistently, but not nearly enough for me to be satisfied. Doesn't matter which new spells you choose. The old spells are better in the new content anyway, and spells like Banish work better in old content like vale than wail of the lameshee.
Spell focus enchantment and greater spell focus enchantment are poor spells to choose for your last feat. You should have already had these in your feat list. For your last feat I would suggest enlarge so you can better use your double focus in enchantment.Your level 20 feat? GSF enchantment?

Wizards may only select meta magic feats as their bonus feats.. So you could not select that feat as it is not a meta. Originally Posted by sephiroth1084
You could however respec, if you had selected a meta at as a regular feat, you could swap it for SF: Enchant, take GSF at 18, and the meta you swaped before at 20.
They do seem like good choices to me tho. You should be able to attain a high enough DC at 20, with capstone and max int to be landing mass holds quite effectively, at least on the new quests on normal.
