Greetings. As a participant in the beta this summer, Turbine officially pulled me away from WoW. Upon hearing that the Cannith server would be opening today with fresh characters only and open only to VIPs until tomorrow, I frantically spent last week trying to upgrade my account to a VIP subscription. Alas, it was impossible for me to find a copy of the game, but I was relieved to see that it was an option under my account management page as of yesterday. It was a great feeling to know that my $15 per month would buy me a fresh MMO experience. Now the day has come. I couldn't sleep last night, the anticipation was killing me. I was up at 6am waiting for the server to come up. I called my boss when the server wasn't up by 8:30 EST and finagled some scheduling to get me into work earlier and thus home early so I could join that headlong fresh start rush.
Now I am home, it has been a long day and all I want is to log in for that long awaited experience. Sadly, I've found that Cannith is still closed to me? I am a subscriber now. You have debited my money. My account verifies as VIP and yet no Cannith? I feel robbed and cheated. I know it will be open tomorrow, but I have been climbing the walls all weekend. Now you force me to go crazy one more day, even though I've paid to not have to. Is this a horrible mix up? Do you just hate 20 year veterans of D&D? Or do you just hate folks that really really love your game? I hope the answer is no to the latter two and yes to the first. Please help.
