Sorry Dex ... I had a whole list of names I wanted. I actually considered snagging some names of well known folks and then pming them here in case they wanted them. Once I got Taliesin and Iluvatar, I knew I had to be among the first in.

Dex is a name I would list as fairly common, short for dexterity... Maybe it is a non forum reader or new player. Maybe someone just really like the named.

Sorry man for the late reply, I was still forum banned from a couple years ago.
I specifically begged for forgiveness to answer this thread.

I snagged Dex on Cannith, bare minutes into the server being up.

I have been using that name since Beta, and on Ghallanda since head start, with the surname of Calibre. Every iteration has been a paladin, though not as famous as some other Ghallanda folks, I was pretty well known.

As you see I have the forum name too, so at least you know it's not going to just some random zerger. I also have Dux, Dax and my cleric Dox. Right now I am running my rogue Dux (drow) until I can get favor for a 32 pt build, and then I will revive Dex, though I will leave the surname off.

Unfortunately my Ghallanda char is now Dex-Ghallanda, renamed on the server merge, so someone beat me out of that, on my own dang server since headstart, that is just so wrong.

I actually started using this name on a Pally in pen-paper, started as a joke becuase I tend to roll really poorly when the party's success requires some dextrous feat.

So there you go. I feel for you bro, but as you see I have some bonafides.
Look me up on the server, be glad to hang or group!
