Beta player and September 1st

I wasn't sure about posting this here or in the account menagement section, but since it's a more technical question...

Well, I was playing in beta, and now I've received the e-mail about September 1st opening. What I haven't understood is... must I download the whole client anew from the link provided in the e-mail or do I just need to patch from the launcher I already have?

New I would think, beta game was just for the beta server which is now closed.

Alright, and should I uninstall the previous game or will the new one automatically overwrite it?

It is a totally separate install, unless you redirect it to the same folder as beta was in, they shouldn't interact at all. I had both normal game and beta as two separate installs.
