Just my 2 cents, but I dont mind the leeching as much on the high end content. By that time my bards can usually make enough money to haggle up some heals fairly easily. My clerics (may they rest in peace) benefited greatly from having a haggle bard or two close by.
It is petty, but I hate being a party healer for people like that on low end content. If you can afford a non-Korthos-glowing-weaon....you can afford a stack of potions to heal yourself a bit between mobs.

The next time you join a raid please announce your capitalist ventures to the group and be sure your clerics can hear you.

By doing this you'd really be helping out the group since your announcement would be notifying the clerics that they no longer need to heal you since you obviously have enough money to purchase your own healing potions.

Must be different on Argonenessen. People don't force you to buy pots off the AH. I have 3 capped clerics and really don't care if people sell them. It is no different to selling any other item so get over it. My melee always keep pots on them for clerics incase of emergencies or to replace resources used in a raid. I suppose those who used to sell wop rapiers for 7 mill plat were evil as well because those poor rangers couldn't perform at their best without them or those who get a +2 wis tome should automatically give them to the cleric as well.

I mean it is possible to just say, "I disagree and here's why."

Or maybe asking, "Since you believe this do you also believe this?"

But to those who responded to my feelings without getting all worked up (agree, or disagree), and those who contributed in a humorous manner, I am thankful.

Well, Cleavon did have a point about the drama.

Generally speaking, when something annoying happens to someone who doesn't want to start drama, they might ***** to their friends and guildmates about it but they don't post it on the public forums.

When someone wants to start drama, they post about the thing that annoyed them on the forums for everyone to see (including hopefully the source of the annoyance) and comment on.

(This is the bit where you say "sorry guys, i'm just venting")

...so, whoever is selling his mnemonics on the AH on Khyber, tyvm and plz go on since im spending a lot of my plat there and wouldnt be able to do so without you.

*sigh* i guess this is the part where some of you start posting "omg, you are a bad cleric since you need pots in raids on a regular basis"... well in pugs it just works for me like that. But anyways, flame on

SOmething i would sugest, is asking for donations. It never hurts, and if you do it in a kind and fashionable way:

"Hey guys, i spent a couple pots during those last two parts of the raid so if anyone has an extra they can throw my way i'd be more than appreciative"

you might just be passed some donational pots or plat, who knows. Some people are very nice to their clerics!
