eschew doesn't work for special materials, such as the components for Stoneskin and Holy Sword.

Eschew Materials doesn't generally work on special expensive components, only the generic by-level components.

It wouldn't be worth it anyway, because the Cold Iron blanks are cheap compared to how long they last. Hint: For convenience, get another character to mail you a bunch of them.

Yes, each one takes as much space as any other melee weapon.
