Before I joined MAC, I was honestly feeling like this game was the most unfriendly game I have ever played. I had bad luck with guilds and people were just down right rude. MAC was a place that took me in, showed me how to play, and took the time to explain things when I got confused. The majority of the DDO population pretty much shuns any new players because they don't want to help anyone and just want to run to the end of dungeons so they can get their "phat lewtz." MAC showed me that it's okay to be new and not know much and that it's okay to ask questions and to request that people go slower through dungeons. I highly doubt I would have even made it this far playing if I hadn't found MAC.

Bare with us we are actually full. The game will not allow us to admit anymore people to the guild. We have reached our limit for characters. We estimate this to be 1000 characters guilded. We have a strict policy for inactiviety and remove characters after 2 months of inactivity. So new slots will open I am sure and we will announce when we can accept new memebrship. We are also reconsidering our inactivety policy and making it a bit more strict. Thank you for your patience.

we will most definatly do so. thanks for your interest. unfortunalty, its very unlikely that ddo will raise the cap limit on toons allowed in the guild. the mac staff is discussing other options that will help grow our memberbase. if anything lucrative is implemented, it will most definatly be made public.

I have been looking for a guild to play with that has an age requirement or something to filter out some of the undesireables. MAC looked like a good choice after playing with a few good players, but lo and behold, the last few people I have played with from MAC have been questionable at best. One guy was running ahead and aggroing lots of baddies, then getting the group wiped and dropping. Another guy felt the need to tell everyone how to play their characters and informing us how awesome he was and that we needed to respec our charcters the way he would play them. Very irritating and belittling, though I am pretty sure he was betweent the ages of 12 and 15. I don't know what kind of interview process you go through to recruit people, but anyone can say they are older than they are, and like somone said earlier in this post, mature is a state of mind not an age. Anyways, I play on Khyber and know there are some decent, mature players in the MAC guild, but from my experience there are about as many immature ******s sporting that tag. Not trying to make anyone mad here, just wanted to let you guys know the impression some of your members are giving. Thanks for listening!

no. we use it, along with other things, to; group up; give stuff away; ask for help; ******** and have a few laughs; ect ect. kinda like sitting around a dinnertable drinking beer and having a good time. theres always someone logging on and saying hello, and getting that responce back ten fold. or when we were recruiting heavily, you would see dozens of people welcomeing new users into the guild. spam? if your not into that type of stuff, then maybee, but i dont think so.

I would like to just put forward my thanks to the guild as a whole. I came aboard a few weeks ago and since then I have realized this guild is unlike any other I have previously been in. I have met players who consistantly are running with me, been able to accomplish new things every night, been alowed to learn and experience, and even ran a quest with the guild leader. While much of this seems normal and standard for many of you I come from guilds in other games that only reitterated why I typically hate MMOs. Thank you for showing me that there are good groups out there, that not everyone is either snide or incompetent.

i counted fifty online just a while ago. didnt seem overspammed to me. maybe because our active message board provides a place where people can "spam," as you call it.

Well, I have to say after reading up on the descriptions, you all definitely sound like my kinda group. I've grouped with other similar guilds in a couple other games, and had a good deal of fun along with the occasional high jinks.

While I'm not really ready to be join just yet, (I'm still getting my feet under me and such, and I'm still soloing quite a bit) I'll surely plan to join at a later date, possibly early next year once I land a job and can get my hairy arse out of f2p land, heh.
