    Default All about FvS Spells

    Hey all,
    This is the same thread from the Beta board, but I wanted to save it before it went away. I know once the class comes out there will be a lot of questions about this stuff...

    Spell slots gained per level:
    FvS uses the Sorcerers progression, which is:

    Spell DC for spells is: (10 + Spell Level + Wisdom Mod)=DC
    In order to learn and cast a spell, the Favored Soul needs Charisma Mod of at least (10 + spell level)


    Favored Souls have access to these spells:

    Level 7
    Level 8
    Level 9 
    

    All spells have the same casting speed as a Cleric, with the same cooldowns.

    Let me know if there's anything I'm leaving out.

    Favored Soul spells with no save:

    Two spells I think are worth getting even for a favored soul with a wisdom as a dump stat:

    Blade Barrier
    Destruction

    A very useful list. Especially since I now know how to make those coding boxes. Unfortunately, it is mostly healing. I was hoping to go Light/Alignment .

    Like that, excepts use [] around the tags.

    Can leave out center and /center if you don't want it centered on screen.

    You can use quote on one of our posts to see an example, that is how I figured it out from the OP's post.

    I don't understand, Letrii. Why the 8 Wis and max Cha if the Cha's function is only to be able to cast the level of spell?
    Isn't the Wis supposed to be the better stat to max for offensive capability?

    Only if you casting spells that require saves. I only using 2 spells with saves and acceptable conditions even if they pass save.

    Blade Barrier: Save is half 15d6 damage
    Destruction: Save is 10d6 damage instead of dying outright

    kk, got it...I don't like the thought of reducing the potential for those two spells tho...I mean, those are two of your most versatile damage spells...but going for max sp has usefulness also...hmmm
