Yo,
50% of my DDO fun is gleaned from playing the different classes, so like plenty of others, I plan to roll up a Favored Soul as soon as Turbine fixes all the new release issues this week (fingers crossed).
I'm interested in finding a relatively dedicated group of experienced players to level their new toons for 1-2 hours every evening. Concept:
- Two goals: Quest speed and fun
- Any class is welcome
- Endeavor to stick with the group through level 14
- Literally work the adventure log from level 1 up
- Run each quest until complete on elite for all group members (max favor AND efficiently rack up the XP)
- 6 dedicated players but substitutes allowed and encouraged when group members are unable to play on a given night
- Wait to level until all players are ready to maximize XP per quest
- If a group member falls behind on quests or XP, we help them out, unless the level gap grows too big
I have a wife and 2 year old at home so not a lot of flexibility on time, so I would only be available from about 8pm CST to 11pm CST.
I don't think we'd want to start this right away as I'm sure we would all like to run the new high level content also, however, I'd certainly be willing to dedicate an hour per night to my FS starting within 2-3 weeks and ramp that up to 2 hours once I inevitably get bored with the new high level content.
If you are seriously interested, please send me a PM or post here. I'm fine with running a group of 6 favored souls, but we'll probably want at least one rogue and maybe an arcane to make things a bit quicker for us... I'll select group based on enthusiasm and sort of balancing the party. Even if its all FS, I'm cool with that too as there aren't that many quests with non-negotiable traps.
Should be a lot of fun if we can piece together a dedicated group.
Giddy-up!
