Question about DDO Time Card and Existing Sub.

I tried searching on this and couldn't find an answer.

I have one of the 6 month DDO Anniversary subs currently and it renews a few days before unlimited launches. I'm not sure if I want to commit to another 6 months yet so I wanted to know if I bought a DDO time card and applied it to my account would that add time to it so that my sub wouldn't lapse and then if I decided to keep it after that I could let the 6 month sub renew?

I don't want to just let it lapse because I am under the impression if I let it I won't be able to get that pricing back.

If you let your sub lapse you will lose that price and a game card wont help you keep that price I dont think but could be wrong. It was mentioned there will be some special sub offers coming soon.

Game cards should just add time to your account. They should not change your billing plan.
