Default Help with a build please?

I am looking for help in designing a TWF halfling for dps. I would like to keep him single classed, although I am not against dual classing I just prefer not to do it. I would like a decent amount of AC, and the ability to use dual rapiers as well as dual khopesh'. HPs of course will need to be a must as he will be on the frontlines. I have a full set of +2 tomes to start him off with, so that will be factored in. I have tried to use the Character Planner and have been unsuccessful at achieving a likable end result. I don't mind grinding to get the items that will be needed. I am asking the DDO community to help me with this and see if I can get a workable archetype to play around with. Thank you for your assistance in this.

pure ftr....16STR.....18DEX....14CON......take all weapon focus/specialization feats....and all the TWF feats and throw in some toughness....easy peasy.....DO NOT TAKE WEAPON FINESSE.....put all lvl up points into str and you will be good to go.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots KHYBER

ok so here is the first draft i came up with for your build, Str based halfling twf pure ranger useing kopeshes, Has 30 str with rams might and a +6 item un raged, about 26 dex with a +6 item so u still get good reflex and bow skills

I would use two min 2 kopeshes as well a min 2 longbow for max dps, not going for to high ac but it shoulding be to bad *ill run it down below*

Well here he is *will make changes as people post in*

    I recommend Ranger:
    Imagine this:

    Strength based Halfling Ranger
    Using Dual Khopeshs

ha ha, ChadMan beat me to it, consider a build like that.
Maybe, since Level 20 ranger doesn't give you anything good, consider throwing in a level of rogue for sneak attack/umd, and a level of monk for the wis/a/save/other bonuses.

I have no clue why you want both rapier and khopesh.. stat dmging with the mod9 dps and the wop nerf?

nomatter go for the best builds:

12f/6r/2x, monk preferably for more feats(to fit in healing marks)+ AC + better saves or rogue if you seek some extra DPS..

    or T-rogue .. 13rog/6ranger/1monk.

plenty of info on these kinds of build if you search the fighter or the rogue forums.

    have a nice day.

In response to 78mackson, 12 Fighter/ 6 Ranger/2 Monk is a very nice build! Kensai II + Tempest + Khopesh will be ridiculous. I currently have the human form of that build.

However, I would recommend using 2 Rogue in place of 2 Monk, that build already has enough feats, and 2 rogue allows you to get full UMD skill, so you could heal yourself with scrolls, a very very helpful ability. (not to mention the extra sneak attack)

I think you might need em if you are trying to fit in the dragonmark healing feats. They tend to suck up a lot of spots if you're trying to get the most bang for your buck.
Osharan, Esharan, Osharina, Usharina, etc... I'm the 'sharans. Epoxy. Notverysexy.

Personally, I would drop the Weapon Focus / Specialization feats before I gave up on the 2 rogue levels. That is how much I wish my 8 ftr/6rgr/2mnk had UMD.

Ya, but that cuts you out of the kensai line. Which is fine, i guess.. but doesn't reach the dps potential that you'd have otherwise

ya that was kinda what i was thinking but he said he wanted pure so i went pure, by going 20 ranger u get a FE, and u get the bonus to bow attack speed. Im relly leaning tward makeing a build like this but adding 2 fighter at low lvls for the kopesh feat.

    thanks

no need to heal yourself with scrolls when you have the dragonmarks
