I currently have a Ranger12/Fighter4. I plan on making him Ranger12/Fighter8 with Tempest-II/Kensei-I.
I do not currently have Weapon Focus or Weapon Specialization feats needed to quality for Kensei I.
My question: Since I will get 2 feats at level 18 (one from fighter6) can I take Weapon Focus and Weapon Specialization at the same level-up (WF being a prereq for WS)?
It is probably safer to respec a Toughness feat to WF before leveling, then simply pick up Toughness again with the new feat, but I am curious if this will be necessary.
Anyone know?

You will be able to take WF and WS at the same level.
