Log In error

I get the following message, I took about 30 minutes to roam around the forums, but I didn't see this error, so I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if the servers are down, or what. Thanks for the help in advance. The follow is a direct quote of the error message that appeared.

Login Server Error

The following web error occurred while trying to access "https://gls-auth.ddo.com/GLS.AuthServer/Service.asmx":

Value cannot be null.
Parameter name:stream

Edit: Got in. Deleted DDO client from firewall and re-added it.

Same issue with the login. Server must be down.

Yep make changes to firewall, something must have changed... check firewall settings and add DDO to the exceptions list.. if its already in the list remove it and add it again

Removed, added, and tried turning off the firewall. Still hangs at the spash screen. This is after an uninstal of all clients and downloading the new hi-res client. It all started when I logged into Lamania the last day of beta but the server was already down. It ran some updates and I could no longer log into the regular client.
