    Arrow Cannith Endgame UNTWINKED 28 Pt (or Drow) Character Builds!

    Lets come up with several successful builds for the new server!
    Builds that will be as successful as we can get them without Uber gear and 32pt builds. I'll include my take on it after some thought.

    I'm certain I'm not going to be alone with a fresh start with a TOTAL restart on a new world. Imagine the little Economy we can help flourish! +1 Longsword of Pure Good! SWEET!

    WF Sorc. The one that has the least need of equipment and the one that has least need of those 4 builds points.

    +1 Rep for taking my Idea. That one and the WF Wiz are prob going to be the most seen at first by experienced players.

    No doubt. That has generally held true for every MMORPG out there.

    The more martial classes go up levels and get a little stronger, but they need to hunt down equipment to get much stronger.

    Casters just level up, get their new Fire III spell, or whatever, and blast away.

    Casters always make starting easier, and in the case of DDO here, won't be hurt at all from being 28pts.

    I had good fortune running my baby FvS on Llama. I had very little twink gear for her - so will prolly bring one to Cannith.

    Default Holy Forest Warrior

    This is the build I am thinking about for Cannith. A TWF, Undead destroying, Tempest Paladin. I would definitely appreciate any comments because this is a new concept for me - even though I assume it has been done to death already. Two notes: I chose FE:Giants randomly - put whatever you want there. I also put some skill points into UMD, for no reason other than I had them, and I figured it wouldn't hurt with RR: items.

    I did notice that, but I was unsure how to work it in. I would have to reclaim a lot of stat points in the build that just aren't there, in order to get the 17 dex necessary. Even going to 16, and then using a +1 tome, would mean that I would have to find 5 more stat points. With my wisdom already in the tank, I was unsure where to get them. The only way I can think of is to go finesse and drop my strength and wisdom to 10, but that also means I lose power attack.

    Please?
    With {insert favorite food} and {insert secondary favorite food} on top?
    Alright alright, I'll just follow the clicks...

    I'm actually thinking Dual Khopesh Human Fighter 18/2 Monk, but I'll have to see if WF is a better call for it. I think maybe... OR just grind out Drow... Hmmm...
    GOT to find time to start running the character builder and check stuff.
    Also,
    Are there any FvS Warrior builds out there without items?

    If we shrank our solar system to the size of a Quarter, and lay it at your feet, the Milky Way galaxy would still be larger than North America. ~NASA Perspective anyone?

    I started out with wizard. I agree that sorc would be easier to build and gear out. No need to mem scrolls and spend on materials. I remember it keeping me in the poor house for a while. However, the learning curve for a caster is a lot steeper than a pure melee such as barbarian. Mages are easy to build, harder to play.

    My second character (well, 2nd that I kept around) was a cleric. I would recommend human or dwarf. I thought it was much easier than a mage. Easy to build. Not too tough to gear out. Always in demand. Can play healbot while you figure out the rest. If you're low on cash and wands/scrolls, let the party know and you'll probly get plenty of donations.

    i think pure melee is easiest to play, but harder to build and gear out.

    Default WF Pally

    Easy one considering I've just recently done this.....28 pt build that rocks so far: WF Pally.....Immune to everything but the Dance and scorching ray . Got 400 favor by the time I was 5th lvl and hadn't even done STK yet lol.

    WF 2 Rog / 18 Wiz and WF Sorc will most likely be the easiest/most popular/most powerful, but hardest out of the gate.

    Some others:

    Drow spellsinger bard-haggle bot or the Dwarven WC bard "axesinger";

    Human TWF KoTC paladin (yes, it can be done with 28 pt builds );

    Monk (these do well until end-game, really);

    Cleric 18 / Monk 2 or the Cleric 19 / Fighter 1 combo;

    Plenty of builds that can work and easily unlock the Drow or 1750 favour.

    I'm half-tempted to try out an Elven FvS 18 / Paladin or Monk (haven't decided) 2.

    Or maybe just buy Drow with the cache of TPs we should be starting off with?
