Tough call, Wolf. I guess it really depends on whether you see yourself wearing armour or not.
Personally, I'd aim for the /2 Rogue splash. With a nice CHA score you can keep UMD in good shape so that you can eventually use stoneskin wands, shield wands, resist wands, and so on. Plus you get Evasion (which doesn't require an uber Dex, because your Cha-bonus-to-saves will offset that).
Monk is nice, especially for the +wis bonus to AC, but that's one too many stats to try to max out IMO.
Paladins will want a good Str, Con, and Cha, with above-average Dex as well. Having a good Wis too? Ouch.
But it could work, I guess. It's just easier to do if you have a 32pt build to start with!
*edit* - ps, if you go /rogue, forget trapsmithing. You won't have the points.
