These are the best words I can come up with.

If that's not enough, here's Arlington's own words:

For the almost four million people who visit annually, Arlington National Cemetery represents many different things. For some, it is a chance to walk among headstones that chronicle American history; for many, it is an opportunity to remember and honor the nation's war heroes; and for others, it is a place to say a last farwell during funeral services for a family member or friend.
I've never argued that Kennedy doesn't deserve to be in Arlington. He served in the military, and he's an elected offical. He satisifes 2 requirements, he clearly belongs in Arlington.

In fact, I'm refraining from discussing my views, mostly, on Kennedy. That's where my compassion lies.

I' ve no fan of Ted Kennedy nor of Gerry Addams (Of Sinn Fein, the irish republicans). Nonetheless there was an interesting tribute written by Gerry Addams in the guardian newspaper which you may enjoy:

Thanks everyone for the comments. While usually we don't allow threads that veer into politics on the forums, when a significant event occurs we will usually make an exception for a day or two. That period is now over and the thread will be closed.

If you're ever in Boston, I urge you to visit the Kennedy Library.
