To many military families, Arlington cemetery is the highest honor that can be granted to those who served. Its one of the finest voices of "Thank you". It is a place that is revered by millions around the world. It is a place of immense pride and patriotism. It gives families generations and generations of pride. These are the best words I can come up with.

If that's not enough, here's Arlington's own words:


For the almost four million people who visit annually, Arlington National Cemetery represents many different things. For some, it is a chance to walk among headstones that chronicle American history; for many, it is an opportunity to remember and honor the nation's war heroes; and for others, it is a place to say a last farwell during funeral services for a family member or friend.

I've never argued that Kennedy doesn't deserve to be in Arlington. He served in the military, and he's an elected offical. He satisifes 2 requirements, he clearly belongs in Arlington.

In fact, I'm refraining from discussing my views, mostly, on Kennedy. That's where my compassion lies.
