Default Newb build Rog / Rang / ???

I'm new to DDO, my name's ShadowcatX, and I have a problem. I'm not sure where I want to go with my build. I'm pretty sure I want Rog 7, Rang 6, but I'm not sure if I should finish off with Barb or with Fighter or with a mixture of both. (Of course, not in that order but none the less, those classes.) I'm going for the tempest prc with ranger, and I like frenzied beserker but I'm not sure about it.

I'm wanting my build to be self sufficient, to be good enough at 28 points, to get me the 1750 favor I need to unlock the 32 point builds. I'm also wanting to be good enough to take the rogue spot on a team (with full trap finding and removal) without having gimped damage which I'm not sure is possible.

So what do you all think, would I get more milage out of fighter, barbarian, a mixture of the two, or something not yet thought of? I'm looking at human for the race and for stats:

    Str 16
    Dex 14
    Con 14
    Int 12
    Wis 10
    Chr 8

Editted to add: If I stick with the currrent build I'm going to get 2 favored enemies, what are good ones to pick? I was thinking maybe undead and evil outsiders as there's always plenty of undead and evil outsides from 1 - 20.

Thank you all for your help and blessed be.

You may want to take a look at The Ravager. It's a very high DPS build (its author argues is has highest DPS potential in the game, although that's very situational) that I think can meet the rest of your goals pretty well. Even if that's not *exactly* what you want, the general Rogue 13/Ranger 6/Monk 1 split is extremely powerful right now. There are quite a few ways to go with it.

In that vein The Despoiler and The Amazon are both worth checking out. In particular the Despoiler matches exactly the level split you want to build.

Unless you need the feats, Barb > Ftr in your case most likely.
