    Default Bard build question

Perhaps this should be in the bard forum, but hey I play on Khyber and I'm putting it here. So, my Bard Forq is now level 14 and has xp to level to 15. He's a human spellsinger build with a maxed out charisma, moderate dex, and moderate strength. I made him for healing, buffing, and CC and I am satisfied with those aspects of the build. At this point though, the only thing he's gonna be swingin' at effectively with weapons is a portal, and maybe oozes... So, I've seen a few heavy repeater builds and was thinking that I might take the feat. Seems like one could do some reasonable damage from a distance with them. I think his base dex is 12 is that gonna gimp him using crossbows? Should I be worried at all about his offensive capabilities?

having run with you id say fighting oozes and portals is a fair application of your play style. your monk has exceptional saves against oozes and portals. your cleric soundly outruns both. your fighter has the ac to handle one well and the other adequately. play to your strengths brother.

    Soylent Green, Ashkente, etc.

Repeaters are my hagglebard's primary weapon. Makes for fun playtimes, especially in places like Coal Chamber.

Well OP regardless of your to-hit issues I would question the wisdom of swapping to a repeater. A big blow to repeaters is the stat damaging nerf next mod. This should affect range combat more so then melee unfortunately especially for a repeater. If you are looking for something to do for fun pick up a repeater feat or two and shoot here or there, but when you need to get something done stick with healing..
