It's always hard to say what something is worth. There always seems to be a wide range of values. I'd trade something to a guildy for a lot less than I'd trade it to a stranger - if I just didn't give it to them. My experience in DDO is, being nice usually pays off far in excess of whatever you gave up.

2 +2 tomes (anything but CHA) or a combo of 1 +2 tome (non-CHA) and assorted large ingredients seems to be the going rate atm.
some ppl value CON or DEX higher than other tomes, CHA isn't usually worth much since they seem to drop more often and only a few builds (bards, sorcs, UMD/intim builds) need CHA tomes, while the others have wider uses.I would have a sig, but Someone might be offended by it so I will just list characters.
Vicinity, Proximity, and far to many bank toons too list.
