I find a simple "no ty" works well. It's not like he tossed you a blind invite.

Not saying you weren't within your rights to respond as you did, just sharing what I do.

This all goes back to Pavlov's dog experiments. A dog that is given a reward every once in a long while can be trained to a particular behavior as well or better than one given a reward every time. I ruined this for you Ace!

I sometimes join such groups from random tells. Not often--but sometimes. And the damage is done.

well the fact that people still do this is proof that it does actually work, so don't expect it to end anytime soon. Go anonymous.

yeah kinda have to agree w/ strakeln.. ppl can be doing plenty of things and not watching the LFM's. the ding and orange text gets attention. Looked to me it was just a simple question... if you don't like blind tells from people fishing for healers then go "anonymous". or just a simple no ty....

    I'm guilty...

I find myself sending tells to certain classes...especially GH quests if im sitting with a LFM up for a long time lol. Not sure why but it seems as though its always around that level. I wouldnt have went as far as replying back to you the way that player did but I can tell you this...when I send tells about joining my lfm..the person joins probably 80% of the time. When I dont feel like being hounded on my cleric I go anon.

Whats wrong with sending tells? I've sent a few and joined a few parties that way.

TBH, I think the "some people's kids" in this case is the OP. Don't want tells, click on anonymous.

So you think its ok when you have a LFM alraedy up to have eveyone in your group spam every clr on the server to join you?

Sorry kid, adults should not act like that.

I am guilty of sending tells as well and to add injury to insult my cleric runs anonymous so I don’t get tells for quest. So my input would be run anonymous if don’t want to get tells. Any one in your guild will know you are on and if you are part of any chat channels your fellow allies can always get you. Just my two cents you can do as you wish but if you are on the who page you are going to get tells a post is not going to stop that.

Real adults just reply "no thanks" and move on with their life. That multiple members of the group sent you tells means nothing, they're not sitting there chatting about whom they've asked.

OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!! I'm sry bro.... i totally did not see the part where it was the 4th tell...... from same party for same quest.... ahhhh gotcha.. yeah I would have been nice at first, but I admit, I probably would have started having fun with them after the 3rd tell..... ok i see your point...

don't mind the cmon one tell "hey we need help"

but the rare party spam from everymember or the multi tell from the group leader is jsut not right.

This don't happen often enuf to make me go anom, i like to be accesable. enjoy awnsering question from people needing awnsers but I wont put up with spam/multi tells from the same person/group.

actualy you are wrong.. Real adults will point out bad behavior and will try to correct the individual that is having behavior problems.
