Default My First WF - Asking for Advice

OK, so I am bored and started a WF-TWF-Tempest/Barbarian. I am currently at 8th Level and after today 9th. I currenty have him at 6 Barb/2 Ranger and was planning on taking the Barbarian to Level 14 before the 9/1/09 MOD 9 for CRIT Rage II, but wondering if that is my best option? Would I be better served with 2 levels of Rogue for maxed out UMD, and Evasion? Also the Frenzy Beserker Line for more DPS?

Let me know your thoughts, & yes I know that their are better DPS Toasters out there

No to the rogue. Its too late in your career (far too late). If you were going this route, you would have had to take the lvl at 1. Also, your rages will prevent you from UMDing. If you take evasion, you'll also either loose out on tempest, or crit rage (which, it appears, you want).

    Default Further Thoughts

I'm not sure that I need CRIT Rage but I have a Dwarf, Pure Barb THF that I am going to switch over to FB, with that being said, I still like the Crit Affects of WoP, W/E, MoB... and would think that this guy as intended should do that job very nicely.

Sounds okay. Just watch the healing. Playing a WF you have to watch the HP a little more than most, even spam healing by a good cleric or repair by a caster, is slower than the fleshie types. Carry a bunch of pots top yourself off frequently and never miss a shrine. You can get healing amp on some items as well as taking healers friend 1 and 2 (don't bother with 3 it takes too many points for little return)

    Default enhancements

I am a little curious about what enhances hv U taken. Mithril body (MUST B taken @ creation) should still allow the Ranger abilities. Also, it is not much but there are enhancements that give you Damage Reduction and More from Healing (I am on an OLD computer and hvg 2 much trouble looking up the names. Also, I hv been in Iraq for a yr and forgotten more than I thought).
Next, Rangers R set up 4 Two Weapon Fighting (TWF) and you may want to concentrate more on that in order 2 increase DPS. Eventually, DDO is G2G at least 30th lvl. Since Ranger tops off TWF @ 11th a 19 barb/11 Ran may work out. The only thing I do not know is the effectiveness of the lvl 20 Barb capstone.
