Defender of Siberys clarification from Beta testers...

So I'm wondering about the specifics in the most recent Defender of Siberys description. For example,

additional armor class when blocking with a shield

This prestige enhancement increases the strength of all of your defensive auras

The first quote is from DoS tier I and the second quote is from DoS tier III. Link here http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=166501.

I'm wondering if anyone can confirm exactly how much additional AC we get while blocking, and exactly what involves increasing the strength of all of our auras. This could make a big difference when were talking bout AC. Thanks for any and all info...Gum

Ahem... BUT with the silly implementation of glancing blows your L20 Defender of Siberys Paladin with AC 76 can still get hit (a lot more frewuwntly than now) by a CR3Kobold Warrior.

SO as far as AC goes....it's still nice...but it's getting the NerfBat "Glancing Blow".

I forgot to check extra AC on Bruttus-Lammania. I may check it out tonight.

Lol, not really thinking/worried about glancing blows atm, just trying to dot I's and cross T's. Will worry bout that when Mod 9 gets here. Haven't experienced it myself, but it sounds like a job for stoneskin.

I read the aura bonus was a +1 across all of them. Not sure what the shield block bonus ac was. I never managed to get my Paladin above 17 on Llamaland.

Not sure what the shield block bonus ac was.

DoS2 gives +2 for +4 total extra AC when blocking.
