    Default Healing Enhancement Stacking

Can a multi-classed cleric/ranger take the healing spell enhancements "Ranger Devotion I" AND "Cleric Life Magic I" etc.? They both claim to grant a 10% increase to the effectiveness of healing spells.

    If so, do they stack?

yes but they do not stack

out of curosity, why ranger cleric splash? its not very synergistic
If you want to know why...

I was thinking of Cleric/Ranger 19/1, taking Ranger at first because:

Ranger spell point and skill point bonuses at first level
All martial feats - since I'm new, I don't know which weapons I'll like/find enough to spend a precious feat on
+2 to reflex save which is a cleric's weak spot

Also, I saw a post with this combination by Impaqt which I found interesting.

yeap those are very valid reasons but compared to other splashes its benefits are too little. ie you splash 1 monk, you instantly get your wis bonus to ac, that like +12 to +15 ac at end game, the base saves of a monk is also better than the ranger. while you may not use all weapon and maintain the sp, the monk gets 1 feat. 2 monk gets you evasion and yet another feat. evasion allows you to negate all the damage of certain spells when you make the save

more importantly, since you are new, i'd advise against playing a MC cleric, especially one that is going to melee. try out a pure cleric first and if possible get 32 point builds unlocked. the extra build points is going to help you build a better toon and the experience will allow you to see for youself what works what not

as ranger devotion gets greyed out once you took cleric devotion (and vice versa) you cant take both and the question is answered

Thanks for advice Aranticus, I'll definitely consider it. I've been reading the forums trying to soak up DDO info. Somewhere that I can't remember now, I read that when the new content comes out, the Monk Wisdom AC bonus was going to be nerfed, to cut down on all the Monk splashes. Do you know if that's true?

    Thanks

Thanks for the verification Visty. I'm using Ron's DDO Character Planner (great tool by the way) and it was showing both as being selectable at the same time, which I thought might be a bug.
