So I'm in the process of building an 18/2 FB Barb/Rogue Halfling (currently at lvl 7). The idea is a high damage, backstabbing, auto-critting, guard build with evasion. I'm debating on where the best bang for the buck will be: slash or pierce?
So far I'm looking at freezing ice guard, radiance weap and/or guard, + earthgrab weap and/or guard to try to maximize the times when autocrit +Halfling bonuses to BS can kick in. Low AC due to Barb-ness makes the guards worthwhile. Heavy Picks with x4 multiplier the best bet here or are there considerations I'm not seeing or aware of with slashing spec/another weapon chain?
Build plan so far:
1d6 from rogue lvls +3 for sneak attack enhancement +6 from halfling guile +8 from tharnes goggles so 1d6+17 when things are held or grabbed. The Crit Rage below are placeholders until DDO:EU released at which time will switch over to FB setup. Any input or comments about build are also appreciated.
