If you tell them not to, they will always wonder.
Some people just can't handle "mysterious"(although it isnt vast )

I tell them to run to the middle their first time.
    They won't forget next time.
More fun than asking them to click right in the middle of the portal before 5 and way better than red text.
    Well, to me anyways.

like Slink said, I love to have them run to the middle too
I get bent on people putting water in before puzzles in part 3 - just no good reason to lose a free pair of chests.....
    mmmm free chests

Yes, but it's not often that putting the water in early causes a party wipe...

The difference between good and great isnt about your mistakes but how you fix them.

In this case, remaining calm is the most important thing to do, especially if you are leading.
This has a tremendous effect on the group.
Not so easy if you dont use or have a mic.

Just last week had people in a shroud all geeking out because FW were missing the crystal in part 2.
Few guys in the party got real loud, whining and complaining about what and why and how.
You could see the reaction from the rest in gameplay.
10 secs of calming the group down and giving out orders go a long way.
    Dragging middle is no different.
Give out your instructions (mind the tone you set) and move on.

Stop running with dumb puggers, then. There's not a single spot in this game where a wizard or sorcerer is actually needed. As long as your bard has enough mana to keep haste up you're better off as a party with no caster. Well... unless you're running with gimps (archers, for example).

hey that's not fair! It's already been proved that an all archer shroud can be done, it takes them twice as long to do it as melees, but that's beside the point...

I bet the Shroud could be done faster with a group of only longsword and shield using monks.

DDO U. Shroud 101 - Is this not the normal tactical strategy? Eliminate the scaggers so they do not get in the way. Maybe not... but I thought I read that somewhere?
