In the thought of more variety = good shaped happiness, I was thinking of additional weapon effects that might be interesting to see in game...
Diseased - on a confirmed critical apply one (randomly chosen) contagion effects.
Alacrity Burst - chance to proc an alacrity buff on you.
Petrifying - chance to proc a flesh to stone spell.
Stupifying - Touch of idiocy on hit, feeblemind on confirmed crit
Shielding - Chance to proc globe of invulnerability
Befouled - Trog stench on hit. Poison on crit.
I am also very much in favor of randomized effects. I would love to see things like random stat drain, (one hit str, the next dex) random debuff, (one hit crippling, the next strength sapping) and shifting elemental damage (fire->electric, etc)
