problems with windows 7

when I run the ddo launcher, I cannot connect during the update process which is required to get into the game, it just sits and keeps retrying every 60 seconds. I know I have internet connectivity as i am writing this post with the same computer and on my other computer (windows XP) the game works just fine.


EDIT: found problem internet explorer was in offline mode so even though firefox was still working all the other internet apps go off of EE
