Whoever told u that is totally out of his mind. With items like the spectral gloves which give you ghost touch, any shroud weapon will do more damage than the hammer. Honestly, even 3 mil GOLD might be much.

Your best bet would be to put it on the AH for a really high buyout, because I think that's going to be the only way you may get remotely near your asking price. Not saying it'll sell... but it's your best shot.

ether way, its on the AH now with a lower SB and max BO. and when it sells (im thinking positive) il be the one laughing =p

What is anything's value. It's not what the seller wishes to sell it for, or the buyer wishes to buy it for, it's where they meet.
That said, I honestly, not trying to make a point, would not only not give you 100,000 gold for it, I wouldn't take it for free. If it were a rapier...no, still would use my greater undead banes. There is a chance someone wanting a two handed weapon, SPECIFICALLY for ghosts/wraiths will want to pay something on the order of the going rate for a handful of bloodstones, +2 tomes, even a few large scales. There's a chance. I wanted a maul...so I made a triple positive. It does a ton more damage, and isn't a one-trick pony. Portals, Sorjek, Abbot and...even those incorporeals.
I wish you luck, but I think you're gonna get more grief.
