Only great crossbow user I know of on this server is the lvl 16 fighter, Xbows, but he's a halfling and I'm not sure if he built for UMD. There used to be a bard, Audioslave, who used them but I haven't seen him around in ages. Those are the only two people who spring to mind, but there may be others.

yes, your best bet IMO is to /tell Xbows in game.
