To refute it, you would have to describe how you defeat the asteroid room.

Let me think... .. . perhaps the way it was intended? Really, low latency, skill from a LOT of practice and a little luck is all it takes. To be fair, I cannot say what went on in other puzzles at the time, but I can say I have seen all puzzles legitimately completed. Of course, depending upon revision different strategies would count at the time.

(checks the OP) - nope! - not apologizing to you. Apologizing for derailing the OP's thread. If you point out one Abbot completion (on live) that is done without cheese, then I might consider apologizing to those people.

Since that claim has never been made before, it's rather surprising that it would come out this way. One would think that if some group actually did it, they would have publicized the accomplishment a bit.

Note that when you say "way it was intended" without specifying what that way is, you leave open the possibility that you don't actually know the intended method.

There has only ever been one legitimate way to beat asteroids, unless you're counting the brief time when you were allowed to win the raid without attempting any puzzle.
