Wts/wtb raid completions

Alright here is my idea you go and run a Shroud and somebody dc and never comes back,or some else wants to recall out and drop before quest finishes. If you are like me and have about 10 charachters and want to get more completions here is your chance. I am offering to sell you a completion.Prices will be very reasonable and will help party with donating to clerics if they have used any recourses. Stops will be available only if somebody wants to recall or dc.

Reaver Raid-5k pp
DQ raid -5k pp
VOD-15k pp(2 mana pots)
Shroud-10kpp
Hound-5kpp(low price cause I doubt you will be able to get in before we finish
Abbot:
normal-10kpp
hard-15kpp(or 2 mana pots)
elite-20kpp(3 mana pots)
Titan and Dragon not listed because you can't get in raid after it is started.

I hope this is stil between the DDO rules as I don't see anything wrong with the offer.

I am also interested in buying completion if anybody else would like to sell at the same prices. Thanks

As you would get an end reward for no risk (eventually a choice raid loot), or any actual participation in the raid, IMO this would be against the rules.

It just 'feels' wrong to me, but it is not my opinion that counts.

But you stil get on timer etc....its not like you can keep doing it over and over. Whats the diference if you are completing at the door or inside? I have had people acsidently recall in reaver after dying and come back in for a completion,should I have booted them? It is no diferent then the people that free ride(afk while the quest is done),atleast I will make them pay for the completion lol

I see a big difference. It was not their intention to gain advantage without risk.

They made a mistake and got caught out by a game mechanic. A system that was designed to stop characters that did not complete the raid (and entered after it was finished) getting raid loot.

In this example the party was caught by a game mechanic designed to stop griefing (ie booting people mid quest so you can replace them with a guildy).

If they intend to take a free ride (AFK) then I don't think they will actually pay up...

The reason I feel this way is because this is not an authorized game mechanic and I sincerely doubt that it is a strategy that we should even debate. The only thing I see this doing is providing legitimacy to piking - and then someone gaining in-game resources for allowing other people to pike.

So thumbs down from me - unless you are doing it in a closed group only among friends who all agree. I would quit any PUG that was doing this.

Not a bad idea, especially for the Abbot, where sub-optimal toons spend a lot of time as ghosts.

One example of how someone could use this: say you built a monk with 14 starting dex, back before the TWF chain was slated to apply to unarmed attacks, and for whatever reason, don't want to re-roll.

In a case like this, you're teetering on the edge of being a liability to a Shroud party. But you could use this service to crank up your Shroud completions on that character without inflicting your gimpness on the parties.

Good luck with the business Fergi! This is already partially done on argo anyways (i know a few people who camp toons by shroud in hopes someone dc's so he can get his second account toon a completion as well as his main)

so I paid for abbot I could come in, then go afk & smoke & read my book while you took care of the work...... this is different from my normal parties only in that no one would ACTUALLY expect me to participate, the would know I wouldn't be helping, not confused as to weather I could be an asset or not....

I am online so often where I know I must go afk 15 minutes or 30 minutes later, so much of my online time is looking thru the dreaded addictive AH and going broke, instead of doing a raid! So if this system means I can go AFK without feeling guilty, then I'll gladly pay!!! At least I'm spending my plat on something useful instead of on something I find later on a mule! Great idea!

Well the idea was not to come in and do nothing it was more if somebody drops acsidently,or just wants to get out(like in Shroud before completion) somebody else can just zone in and get a quick completion at almost no price. I think it is seriously cheap and for the people complaining about don't join its that simple! You zone in and a minute later you get a completion now tell me that isn't worth 10-20k? People saying I am not helping out noobs.....any of you seen noobs wanting to pike on completions with no chests? PLS this is made for people with 10+ charachters that want to keep more of them on timer that is all! I won't decline if a noob wants to join for it but just saying I don't see many of them doing it.
