Were I you, I'd wait until a bit after the Mod. Once the fact that new tomes will have an ML is more widely known, the relative value of Intelligence Tomes will enjoy a nice Bull Market. That's what I'm expecting, anyway.

I havent been on the test server, anyone know if +2 tomes will retroactively require a ml:7?

I can't really think of any instance where they retro-actively added or adjusted a ML.

If I had to gamble, I would think they would NOT retro-active add a ML to all existing tomes, and therefore the value will increase.

I have received offers for the tome, unfortunately none of them have been sufficient to make me want to trade.

I think you put too much faith in Turbine!

It would not suprise me at all if suddenly one day in September (or December ?) we wake up to find all our +2 Tomes are now min lvl 7

I hope not, as I have some stocked away as well, but I won't bet they leave them!

I actually hope they make it retroactive and all those hoarded tomes are now ML7. Realistically no GM in their right mind would allow a brand new lvl 1 character to have a +2 tome available right off the bat. Hell in PnP you are lucky to them even by lvl 7

I doubt they'll bother retroactively applying the change, since the problem fixes itself over time with the introduction of a full respec (which a dev has said is in the works).

In the beta, the change is not retroactive, in live, it will not be either.

Turbine rarely bothers with existing items, I still have 2 stars of Irian min lvl 2.

So, my ml:1 +2 Int tome will be able to garner additional skill points before level ml:7 +2 tomes will........
