I see lots of monks taking the TWF feats, how these feats help the monk? Do they have more attacks using handwraps or the only weapons which benefit from these are kamas?

They benefit both Kamas and Unarmed. Furthermore, Unarmed TWFing doesn't incur the -2 ToHit penalty in the off hand, and you get full Strength damage bonus to your off-hand attacks (everyone else only gets half their Strength damage bonus). Unless you plan on doing something with Quarterstaves (though in that case I'd recommend 18 or 19 Rogue levels and 1 or 2 Monk levels) then you'll want the TWF line.

The TWF Feats will affect unarmed attack chain in Module 9.
If you use Quarterstaves you'll want the Two-Handed line. While there's been some discussion (with Dev commentary) about Q-Staves being converted into Double Weapons (Or having alternate types of Staves in the game) to take advantage of TWF'ing there hasn't been anything officially announced.

Is there a chart or Information detailing the effects of TWFing on monks unarmed attacks? I didnt see it listed in the DDO wiki and cant find specific info on the forums.

Having just been sucked back in to this **** addiction (played the original beta up to just after mod1 came in) after messing with the freebie beta, I'm in the process of leveling up a monk.. was in a random PUG earlier and had someone (with a lev 16 monk) telling me TWF was useless because it didn't actually stack with flurry of blows.
I know the overriding advice in the forums here is that that's wrong, and GTWF (which I'm aiming for, just got level 8 and bumped my base dex to 17 to pick up ITWF next level) is a 'must have'. I'm wondering though if there's any actual data around to prove or disprove this theory?
It isn't so much a theory about TWF not working with monks, so much as it is that person being a moron.
Anyway, to back up my claim, I give you this quote.
In addition, Monks also receive their full strength bonus to their off hand attack.
What does this mean? It means that my monk at level 16 currently gets 10 Unarmed Attacks. You would recieve only 5 if you did not take TWF/ITWF/GTWF

The thing about the forums is many/most regular forum posters know the game really well (with a notable few exceptions ). If you post some B.S. on the forums you will most likely be called out for it. If you see 1 post saying X works then it might be true (or maybe no one saw it) but if you see multiple posts by people with like 8,000 posts then there is an extremely high probabiltiy that it is true. ie 99.999%.

Brilliant, much appreciated.
Good to know I'm on the right track... in terms of the TWF feats, at any rate..
dodge, twf, stunning fist, weap focus:bludgeoning, power attack, power crit, itwf, improved crit: bludg, gtwf (at 15). 18, I'm not sure... thinking cleave would be nice, but think I may well be needing toughness..
(and yes, pure monk to 20 is the plan.. I'm a purist )
Exactly, there has been multiple statements by Dev's saying this DOES NOT WORK, and yet you can still run into those who say it does.

while I'm at it: Badger..
I love the fact that I can just go all 'energizer bunny' when I'm low on health, pop off a wholeness of body, get up and keep on going. Though the HP boost from tortoise seems like it'd make for better survivability with a healer about, the +atk flanking bonus from hound means you can effectively be power attacking where you normally wouldn't (I'm always trying to flank.. tank's the only person that should be face-to-face IMO), the elemental resists from monkey work well with the 10/epic DR from the capstone to give you really nice overall DR, and crane.. well, nup.. can't see that it really matches up to the others.
ie My impression is badger does well for soloing but tortoise or monkey for survivability, hound for DPS. Yes? No?
only have badger on my Fighter/ Monk for the +1 intim. Ive never tried it on my monk build. I personally try and stay away from low HP's myself.
