I remember my husband and a few of his best friends playing in Beta and then at the initial start of DDO - They created their own guild "company of the Beast" but my hubby had one toon in MESS and Veerax is the only toon of all of our friends on the founders fountain.
My most vivid memory of those early days were before I even joined the game - my husband and his friends were running Irestone Inlet for the first time and I think they were in there for 3 hours - I was sitting in the computer room working and they were trying desperately to take the hill with Dinks on it and they kept almost dying, running back down and re-grouping it was hilarious to watch. They way they talked about that quest last night was that it was the hardest thing they had ever done and what an accomplishment it was
My earliest memories were running our TCOTB guild with some weirdo named Gin - we ran with him a lot and then he disappeared from our sights for over a year and a half - the guy was a great player and a cleric to boot so we really missed him - luckily we caught up with him and all joined AtD a year ago! LOL

i remember Dragonsies lol, he didnt listen, but i dont believe there was anything he couldnt charm. Jasoul was lvl 9- we were running greymoon/co6 when i met Dragonsies, i kept telling him 'dude, you have got to stop charming those ogres, when they break- they come straight for you and i dont have the sp or wands to heal you and the rest of the group, next thing you charm and it breaks, your on your own, less than a minute later i see in party chat "Jasoul can you raise me again?"
Talon!! lol yea Jasoul was a cleric that was originally on my sisters' account. she quit playing at one point and gave the account to me. i just kept Jasoul.
was alot fun, we did 3-man alot of stuff. some was rough, but all in all we did get through and looking back, i kinda miss those days
ahh yes the good old day's I remember them well. Hubby and I stated a small guild the League of PnP and slowly we lost most of them then i met a few dwarf's one named Borror and the other guy georges i think his name was, they gave me a home along the way i met the Guild leader of the Guild I'm with now. I've quested with all of the Guilds mentioned above and i do miss those days' sometimes.

charn harry? lol he would probably take a fireball to the face trying anyway lol!! he did seem like a nice kid, just didnt appear to be quite all there.
i remember Georges, was one of the names i was trying to remember, just dont remember any of his alts.
i also remember most of the guilds that were mentioned, Remember Honor, Sanctuary, Amen used to be alot larger than it appears to be now, as well as a seemingly smaller guild named Liquid Share, a bard named Raeve (i think) used to lead it.
wow, how things have changed, funny tho, the things we remember about those times, when i started, i was told the level cap had just gone to 12 and to this day, whenever i try to cross the bridge in Von2, i start 2-stepping i rarely even bother with that anymore, would rather get disintegrated by the maze or toward the charisma spiders
He was a nice kid, would give you the robe off his back, but if anyone could charm a red named, it would be him. Actually, he's they guy that made me rethink charming. However, in to day's Dungeon alerts, he'd be far more misrable than usual.
I remember sactuary. And as for the VoN2 air bridge: was was fine oh so long ago, but when they changed it, it became unpassable for me. I have learned to love the maze.
I do remember being blown off once and actually landing on one of those islands. That was neat!

I'll retire from the Navy in January, but I should be off this ship and on terminal leave in mid November.
As soon as I can play regularly again, I'm gonna try to convince Brinks to come back in the game.
He was a better player than me, but together (or with you. ) we short-manned quests that I really thought were beyond our ability.
I always seemed to have more fun with just the two of you then with many fulls groups. Brinks used to say that sometimes the party just gets in the way.
And I've always prefered groups that had fun people in them, no matter what the party make-up. Odd combinations, shortmanning...whatever. Just like running with fun people.
And it seems the old Tharashk was some of the best people I've met in-game.
I've got chars on every server. A lot of chars on Argo.
There's fun people everywhere, but somehow the old crowd felt more like family at times.
DDO's a better game now with more content, but somehow I think we lost something along the way.
Anyway, glad to see a lot of us are still around. I'll try better to hook up with some of you when I can play regularly again.
(we'll be in the shipyards the next two months, and hopefully I can play a couple hours a night in my hotel room.)
I lead the band of misfits call "For great justice". Remember the original guild generation had capitalization issues?
Well most of the gang moved on to other things not long after the server merge and I've bounced around to a few other guilds. I've landed with GSI now, another old Tharashk guild, and just continue to play my rogues.
...
See you in Stormreach, Shamguard "I am THE Rogue."

The one I remember most from FGJ was Curaga. I had a few tough runs with him, trading PMs about how stupid the rest of the group was.
I also remember an horrendous Crucible run during a loot weekend with you and your guildies. Can't remember why, but it didn't go as well as we would have liked.

I still have a few pics from back then. Level 10 cap, 8 and 10 con characters. Well that first one we were 12 I think.
