Default Account questions not being answered

1, How can I purchase game access, for someone else on a seperate account?

When DDO officially becomes DDO:EU and Free to Play is finally started:
1, Where/how can we purchase Turbine Points outside of game?
2, How can we GIFT Turbine Points to someone else?

    I found this
To give a gift there are a couple of options. You can call or email the Account Management department and request to pay for the gift (subscription time, upgrade, Premium Service). You can also email. Contact links for both can be found in my signature.

If you're calling, be sure you have:
-the last 4 digits of your credit card
    -the billing address on file
-what gift you'd like to give

If you're emailing, be sure to include:
    -your username (game login)
    -your first and last name
-the last 4 digits of your credit card
    -the billing address on file
-what gift you would like to give

Either way, you'll need to have at least two of the following for the account that you want the gift applied to:
-the name of at least 1 character & the server the character is on
-the first and last name of the account user
    -the email address on file
    -the address on file
-the username of the account (not recommended for privacy/security reasons)
but still leaves questions. if emailing, and you stated not to put the credit card number how does the instructions above make sence? wouldn't putting the last 4 digits be attaching their account to your credit card?

Please explain further. I am wanting to gift game time to my brother who is currently on a trial account. What information is exactly needed?

The last 4 digits of a credit card are used for verification (prior to making any changes or charges). They cannot be used to attach a card to an account. (Only the last 4 digits of the card appear even in our billing system internally - for security reasons.)

The information you listed is what is required. The first information is required to verify your account prior to charging your card. The second list is what is required for the Account Management department to find the account you want to gift to.

Thank you for the response, this clears it up.

    Victorie,

I submitted an email to Account Management just as you suggested; however, I have not receive any confirmation, nor contact from the department at all. The request was submitted right after your response in this thread. Please help.

Email turn around for the Account Management department is a bit delayed right now, due to the high volume we experienced when players were unable to re-subscribe, as well as other questions. All emails are answered as quickly as possible in the order they are received, however response time is more than a week for Account emails at the moment. We are working to expedite the system and improve this response time, however these updates are not all in place yet.

You also have the option to call as well, call hold times this week are back to more normal wait times.

A confirmation page is shown after a request is successfully entered into the system. If you do not believe that they received the inquiry, you can submit another one. I do not recommend that players do this regularly, as the additional volume will slow everyone's response time. However, if you do not believe that your request was sent, then you can enter another one.
