Default Pure pally good enough for 1750 favour solo?

    As above,

Am looking at Drow Pally predominently solo, i currently have a (poorly specced) rogue/cleric that I'm finding *really* hard going past level 7.

Is this just the case with DDO as it stands until the new expansion arrives with more solo friendlyness?

I quite enjoy the pally playstyle and lore, and after a brief tinker on lamania found 2 weapon fighting to be a blast.

So bearing in mind very little coinage for tomes, no 32pt build.

    Starting stats (vaguely speaking)

    16str (+4 level)
    16dex (+1 tome)
    12con
    10wis
    8int
    16cha (+1 level, +3 tome?)

this should allow me most TWF type skills etc

Would this be "optimal" to get 1750 favour solo? or can someone suggest a more solo effective build/class.

    Thanks for any input

I think you are going to have a lot of trouble getting 1750 favor on your own but I wish you luck and I will say paladin is one of the better choices to try this with

Well lets see you get about 1200 favor on accident leveling up. Then about 100 more coin lord, about 100 house K doah vons on elite solo are gonna suck scratch that house K. he could get another hunderd from house P, 100 from necro thats about 1500. Yeah I think getting that last 200-250 solo might be an issue.

lvling up solo might be a bit tough on his own and at very least expensive in resources. Usualy for me the first and last 200-250 is easy to get solo its the middle range thats harder to get solo

make a dwarf cleric, with 1 level paladin. give it a decent str, wis and con. u will go faster. without aoe and some cc it will take forever to get the favor

Honestly if you want to solo 1750 favour with no coinage, I'd say rush a WF sorc/Wiz to 16.
After you hit that soloing the 1750 will be no problem.

To rush a caster to the level cap would demand more game knowledge than possessed by someone who needs to ask how to get 1750 favor. If you don't already know the game pretty well, the caster will frequently run out of mana and either slow his progress, or fail the quest completely.

With the coming nerf to normal, you will be able to zerg most content to max level in a couple of days. You can then zerg hard, and take your time picking up elite with plenty of resources accumulated at this point.

    Your stats are optimal.

Your INT and WIS are reversed.

I would leave the final level up for CHA until last - it may be better of in STR...
