Character Planner - Series 3.xx

Alright, new thread for the new major version number.

I just posted the new character planner, Version 3.05. This one goes up through Level 20 and includes Favored Soul. Go ahead and pick it up, the link is in my sig.

The changelog for this one is kind of general, and doesn't really do justice to the extent of the changes made. But that's alright, hopefully most of them you won't really even notice (lots and lots of bug fixes in this one).

Version 3.05
============
1) Level cap raised to 20.

2) Favored Souls!

3) Equipment has now returned to the planner.

4) Added a new sorting option for known enhancements. You can now either sort them by parent heading and name, or by level taken.

5) Added a "Collapse All" and "Expand All" button to the selectable enhancement lists.

6) Many fixes to the text files, especially in enhancements.

Caviats:
1) Equipment is still a work in progress. I had originally turned it off for a good reason, in that it was causing instability. Now DragonStar has made a fair number of changes and additions, and hopefully we got some of them out, but I harbor no illusions that every piece of equipment is working right, and in fact, may very well cause program crashes. PLEASE save your characters before starting to mess with equipment until we can get the problem items locked down and workikng.

2) When you select the Enhancements instruction, especially for Fighters, the program will not respond for a second. I'm looking into the cause for this now, but in the meantime, just be patient. It should only take a second or two for it to come back up.

As always, if you find bugs or discrepancies between the planner and DDO, please let me know.

Thank you.
But, I find that the enhancements are way to computer demanding and lags even on a intel Q6400.
The PREs on fighter for example are way too many, you could try to remove all the weapons and just add "+x dmg to specific weapon" or something. That would lower the list by over 20 lines.

The feats are a bit laggier as well, compared to the older versions I mean.

it loads faster for me overall, but enhancements seem to lag a bit more (not suprising, it's a lot bigger now)

btw, Ron, might wanna check the Weapon Focus/Specialization feats
i was able to pick up the weapon specialization with only 1 lvl of fighter when it requires at leave 4 lvls of fighter

For the ones that the application is running slow for , is it when you are doing Fighter Stuff or any class?

anytime fighter enhancements are involved
and the weapon focus/specialization feat lines aren't properly restricted
i could choose to take weapons specialization with 6/2/1 Ranger/Monk/Fighter
Kensai signiture weapons should probably get spread into 3 tiers for I, II , and III
Class granted feats that aren't suppose to be selectable (like wholeness of body, fast movement) are appearing on the feat selection
more to come if i find anything else funky

Yeah guys, I'm aware of the lagging issue, especially with enhancements, and most especially with fighter enhancements. I just wanted to mimic the game j/k

You should see me try to run the program in debug mode, it takes like 15 seconds for the fighter enhancements to come up. Anway, I didn't want to delay the release over this issue, because it's not a simple fix. But it is my top priority for the next version. I haven't completely tracked it down yet, but I have a pretty good idea where it's coming from. It should be fixable without having to reduce the number of enhancements (which would be, at best, only a temporary fix, since the devs are always adding new ones).

Hey Jay, just looked for this issues and all the Specialization feats do require 4 levels.

Are you talking about a multi-class build being able to take it at 4th level but with only 1 level of fighter?
