I added a Bug on Mantis with info on the Rogue Mechanic changes in U5. Hope to use this to create my build soon.

Not sure if this has been posted but in the current version of the planner the Rogue Pre Mechanic I does not granted repeating Light Crossbows, the second capstone of +2 int and 4d6 sneak attack dice is not there, and Mechanic II is not granting heavy repeaters as well.
Yeah, I know. The whole business of Enhancements granting Feats just isn't supported in the planner right now. It doesn't have any code to do that.
It's a priority to get working for the next version, since I know it affects people's builds. It's just a matter of me finding the time to code it in.

Thank you Ron, great tool. I almost spend more time tweaking builds than playing the game

Yes, RON! It's all your fault, RON!! If it weren't for you I'd have levelled up more, RON!!! You've ruined my life, RON!!!!
Ahem. I'm better now. Yes, the tool is rather addictive and it keeps me going when "going online" would get me in trouble with the missus, and starting up the tool does not. I might be single if it weren't for you Ron! Your efforts are much appreciated here.
Goe ahed... korekt mah spelin'.
Seems to be missing Monk Animal Paths level I for all aside from Monkey.

Ron,
I love your planner! It's especially a great tool for a casual player like myself - I use it all the time! I have a quick question (which has probably been asked before) - is there a page or a link that shows what all the changes were between the versions? With the number of pages here growing to the mid 30's, it's hard to keep up with all the posts.
Thanks and +1 rep!
Not really.
I used to keep a file that was released with the planner (in the Data directory) called Changelog.txt that outlined all the major changes and bugfixes on a per-version basis. However, once I opened the planner code up and got a team of people working on it, that file became very difficult to maintain (not impossible, I COULD have pulled the info from the SVN logs I suppose). It just didn't seem worth the effort, so I stopped doing it.
At this point I'm pretty much just updating the planner when the game updates (as I'm now working on a totally different major project), so it just follows the game updates as far as what changes (plus any fixes for bugs that were reported in that time). If I (or a member of the team) add new features on top of that, I tend to mention them in the release post.

FYI my Norton is now accepting the planner.

Indeed? Was that a change caused by the lastest planner, or a change caused by the latest Norton?
Can anyone else confirm?
Hopefully the Norton guys straightened it out, whatever the issue was. There is simply NO reason the planner should be setting off AV alarms, it does nothing dodgy, and far less than other programs do routinely (for instance, mess around in the system registry, or copy files around). It DOES access the windows clipboard, but then, so does just about every other program in existance, heh.

The Feats For Spell focus do not work properly. If you take regular spell focus then later try to take greater spell focus in the same school it drops the first focus. This kept happening to me when trying to get the focuses needed for Pale Master... Also To allows taking greater spell focus at level 1 which should not be possible. Sorry for not putting this in mantis But I dont like having to sign up for more accounts then I need. You can PM me here if you need more details.

The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it and see what is going on. I also saw a bug with monks in another thread (the level 3 feats not appearing where they should), so I have a couple of things to look at for monks.
No problem wrt Mantis. I know some people don't like to sign up for extra stuff they will probably use all of one time, heh. I try to make sure I go through this thread pretty thoroughly when I'm bug killing, so reporting here is a good second option.
Yeah, I saw that yesterday. In reality, it's not a hard change (just changes to the text files basically). It's just a matter of catching all the entries in the files.
