Thanks Greeks, another lowercase w error , fix will be out on the next update.

More playing with the thrower kensai and I found that I can select multishot feat, though I do not think it is applicable to thrown weapons, only bows. Now sure if this is something of an over sight since I selected the feats that opened it up for selection. Any feedback regarding this would be appreciated. Additionally, the enhancement line for thrown damage and thrown to hit since a little lacking in its description field. It say at thrown attack 1 you get +1 to hit and thrown damage 1 give +1 to damage with thrown. However, thrown attack 2 and thrown damage 2 state that you get a +2 to attack and damage with thrown weapons, now is that stackable with the +1 from thrown attack and damage 1 or is that a total of +2 meaning each rank of the enhancement just adds +1. I am assuming that latter, but I would like some clarification here and if it is the latter the description should be updated so new players and not confused by it.

    Cheers

hmmm that is a good question, guess we need to find someone in game that has that type of build to see if they can get multi-shot (does you build have ranger levels in it that qualify him the for the manshot?)

I"m not sure if these stack or not, but the description is how turbine has it currently on beta and we try and match them. It makes it easier for us to know when they have made changes to stuff.

Not sure if this was mentioned / found, but I came across an issue in the builder where it was not allowing me to select an enhancment even though I had the prerequisits. The first time was with Frenzied Berzerker I, where the enhancement was greyed out even though the requirements were in yellow (and yes, it was on a barbarian). The second time was in a multiclass Fighter / Paladin / Sorcerer that I double check with just straight paladin. I went back into the saved file to get screen shots for your benefit:

As you can see I have Paladin Courage of Good I:

But the PrE says that I do not have the Paladin Courage of Good I enchancment:

AFAIK, that's an error in the planner that actually reflects how it works in game.

You can't take similar boosts across various classes (Paladin Armor/Fighter Armor, Barb Sprint/Ranger Sprint, Rogue Haste/Fighter Haste, etc), and thus can't take both Defender of Siberys and Stalwart Defender. (If that is, in fact, what you're doing.)

Actually, the screen shot says you Don't have "Paladin Courage of Good", which seems to be true. You have "Paladin Courgage of Good I".

Looks like a simple typo in the pre-req check.

Also, thanks to both Ron & Dragon Star for providing the programing; and to everyone else who's testing

If that is the case then I found two errors in the character planner, not just one.

I have verified that the error on Defender of Siberys comes up the same on a pure Paladin as well.

Just to be sure i'm following you right Tanka as I've never used the boosts except on my full fighter.

    1. In ddo we can't take multiple class boosts that are the same, similar to how the class stats work.

If this is the case, this is an easy fix.

    If memory serves, yes.

For example, a 1 Ftr/1 Rog couldn't take both Rogue Haste Boost 1 and Figher Haste Boost 1, but they could take Rogue Damage Boost 1 and Fighter Haste Boost 1.

Proof, for those who are curious.

Have Fighter Haste Boost 1 on a 1Rog/1Ftr/2Pal, looking at my Enhancements, can't take Rogue Haste Boost 1.

Aye, this is standard behavior. Any enhancement taken will lock out any other enhancement with the same parent heading of the same level. In this case, both enhancements are under the parent heading "Action Boost: Haste". And therefore Fighter Haste Boost I would lock out Rogue Haste Boost I, and in fact any other class' "XXX Haste Boost I", if there were any.

Currently, the planner does this manually via a LOCKS keyword in the enhancement files. I've often considered doing this automatically in code (so that we could remove most of the cumbersome LOCKS lists), but I'm not 100% sure that it's totally universal.

Of course, we'd keep the LOCKS keyword, because there is the odd enhancement here and there that actually lock enhancements from different parent headings (I believe some of the Toughness related enhancements are this way, or at least they used to be).

Anyway, if there is a place where the planner is not doing this properly, it means there is an error in a LOCKS list somewhere in the text files.

Oh no, I believed you without the screen shot. It made to much sense not to be able to take both, afterall.

I am unsure if this has been noted as yet, but in 3.06 the "path" feats for the FvS don't appear in the choices after 1st level where we can see what they are.

Other than that I am very happy to be able to fiddle with my numerous builds created with your planner that don't require such feats.

With regards to Toughness, you can take your Racial Toughness and Class Toughness, but not two Class Toughnesses (eg Barbarian and Fighter).

The Toughnesses automatically lock out once you take another Class one, but the Boosts do not.

Default Love the tool, very customizable.

I have been using your character planner and have some suggestions, some of these I have implemented myself by modifying data files.

    Really needs:
    - Add Placeholder Feats, on generic and one for each for each type. I did this myself by adding feats with feattags of multiple and one for each type.

    - Add Placeholder Enchangment, just to spend them to place later enchantments. I did this by adding some Enchantments that were available to all classes and races with 1 cost and no requirements

    Would be nice changes:

    - The color of the level where placeholders were used could be a different color (like blue) to make finding them easier when adjusting.

    - On the level buttons, some method of showing the class selected for that level.

    - being able to double click on feats and enhancements in lists to remove.

    - be able to put enhancements in place with prequisites to be added later (especially for enhancement point) still should show error.

    Personal request.

    - Anyway to have a small format of the tool to fit on a netbook screen (1024x600). I like to use that while playing.

    - Large print version of printout. My eyes have trouble reading the current printout.

    - An HTML format of Forums outputs, Especially strongly classed with supporting css file, this would allow use in personal pages.
