IMO it would be better to drop that skill display altogether and replace it with a much simpler "ranks spent" list of skill points anyway. The current skill displays are all based on "modified" values, which is misleading due to not having all the gear you would expect to get.
Consider UMD, for example. As long as you see either 11 ranks (cross class) or 23 ranks invested in UMD, you know it's a UMD build. No other information in a build planner is necessary regarding UMD. For all other skills it's either the same or less interesting to show modified values. Is it a trapper build? If so, all I care about seeing is 23 ranks spent in search & disable, possibly with 23 in spot as well.

Hey gang,
First, thank you all for the bug reports. It was about what I expected. With the new system, we had a lot of bugs. Fortunately, I think we were able to pretty much keep up (between the four of us), and if I'm not mistaken, we've fixed everything that has been reported to this point (ah, except for one thing which was just reported a couple of hours ago, I'll get that one squashed tomorrow).
I think it's in pretty good shape right now. If I am not mistaken, the general plan (unless you guys flood us with new bugs) is to have a new release tomorrow (Monday). The only holdup is we had to redo all the enhancement icons...again (for a couple of reasons). If I never look at another icon again, it will be too soon We've mostly got the new set in, but we've probably got another couple hundred to do. Hopefully we have have it finished up by tomorrow and be ready. I also have to finish up the last details of the level guide printout. That will be my first task tomorrow morning.
I hope you will find the new release is much more functional and usable than the beta release. I think it is. I'll keep you guys up to date on what is going on.
[EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention one thing. We've decided to turn the item builder and equipment off for this build. We're going to be revamping that entire system. Equipment has changed so much since it was put in, it's in desperate need of a redo. Plus it was crashing quite a bit. It just needed to be turned off for now I'm not entirely sure how long that process will take, but I don't think it will be too long].

Wait a second Ron, maybe we can work something out. You'd be a little tough to replace.
Thanks again for the wonderful job, Ron. Now I can LR my Barbarian.
Not sure if someone already reported these ones:
the epic feats great [stat] don't affect your stat total
can't select a stat level up at level 28
drow core stat enhancements lock themselves out (if you took int at t2, you can only take cha or wis at t4)
the pale master enhancement bone armor costs 1 ap per tier on live, but 2 ap per tier on planner

I have encountered an issue when trying to work out my TR (36pt) build. I need my next life to have a majority of rogue levels, and I prefer to solo quite a bit (or at least be VERY self sufficient). My build plan is 8 Artificer - 12 Rogue, Warforged with max points into CON and INT, rest into DEX.
Past lives are:
3 arti, 2 wiz, 1 sorc, 1 barb
For the purpose of making the build, i only use the feat selection and ability score increase as I level the toon up; and I ignore everything else (skills, tomes, etc...)
When i'm finished (at lvl 20), i go into select enhancements to plan out the build.
EVERY TIME I hit "accept", the planner crashes.
I tried doing the exact same thing again, and the planner crashed.
I tried doing the same approach, but with a Favored Soul build, and the planner stayed stable.
It may just be me, but i'm not sure...PLEASE advise.
If not just me, please record as an actual bug.
We had a bug like that, I think it was caused by one of the Wisdom enhancements, that would crash when the user hit accept, that we've already fixed. I can take a look and see if one of the ability modifying enhancements has the same bug. It would be easier if I knew what trees you were using, or even which enhancements you were taking. It's possible this has already been fixed, but I will look and see if I can find the same bug in one of those race/class trees.
