Okay was experimenting with the new planner tonight and encountered two bugs. First bug has to deal with creating a Stalwart Defender Fighter. For some reason when I have all the enhancements required for the Stalwart Defender 2, it shows I am missing Fighter Stalwart Defender 1. I think the issue has to do with the enhancement called Stalwart Defender 1,2,3 and in the requirements it is called Fighter Stalwart Defender 1,2,3.
The second issue/bug I found has to do with enhancement points given. I created a Stalwart up to level 11, then went back to level 10 and removed one enhancement that cost 4 ap's and then took another in its place that was worth 4 (WF Con 2) then went back to level 9 and removed Fighter armor mastery 1, and allocated the points accordingly. It then gave an error Illegal Enhancement: Too many action points with level 10 flashing red. At level 10 it shows i have 4294967294 action points.
Just thought you might like to know this and the method I used to cause these errors.

Jesus saves but only Buddha makes incremental backups.
And for the defender of siberys, it should be this, I had fixed for you.
Just paste it to the data files.

Lookin for sumthin to kill!!
hey ron was updating my thread with the new planner and found an error. L20 barb will save is incorrectly listed as 0 when it should be 6
btw thanks for the planner
If you want to know why...
A few errors I've found.
When trying to edit gloves, you can't select -anything-, AND it crashes the CharGen.
You also can't select a bonus # for cloaks.
Minos Legions isnt a selectable helm. Dwarven Axes aren't selectable as a weapon choice.
Ranger Tempest III doesnt have pre-reqs listed: I believe it's OTWF and one of TWBlocking, TWDefense.
Everything else works amazingly!
Thanks for the reports everyone. We will get on them. I don't really see anything that is an emergency (although I'm not happy about the FvS autofeats being borked again, I HAD those working, but they aren't showing up when they are supposed to now, dang it).
Couple of quick notes:
DagazUlf: Clear your browser cache before downloading.
Galbbatorix: There is a little lag with enhancements, but the program shouldn't be THAT slow. Especially not with feats, which are not substantially bigger than they were in the last version. Unless there is some problem with the code optimization regarding the new compiler. I'll take a look, maybe there's something in the settings I can tweak to speed things up.
Gol: I don't understand. It used to be WF body feats were ONLY selectable at creation (I know because I had to put in a special tag to make this happen). Are you saying this is no longer the case? You can take them at higher levels now?
Tharlak (and everyone reporting the "Child of..." and "Beloved of..." issue): I've confirmed. I DID have these working, but it looks like they are malfunctioning again. The problem is I'm trying to fix things too fast and not giving it enough testing time. I think this got broken when I disallowed selection of Auto Feats. I'll take a look at it.
Greeka: I'll take a look at that wacky AP issue. That's an odd one. Something is not initializing right, heh.
Aranticus: Okay, we'll look at the barb will save. Probably an error in the text file.
Cairo: Yeah, this is why we said to be careful with equipment. Some of it is still pretty flaky. We'll take a look at the gloves and see why it's causing a crash, those are our highest priority issues, getting the crash items taken care of. And of course we'll take a look at the other bugs too. For equipment, it's going to be one item at a time, hehe.
Since there is nothing absolutely pressing in all this, I'd like to take a little more time with the next version. Because of the DLL error and the malfunctioning feats prereq error, the last version was an emergency release, and I didn't really have much time to test it to make sure I didn't add new bugs when fixing the old ones (and as a result we've got the issue with the FvS feats now). Plus it lets you guys find more bugs for us to fix Give us a bit, it won't be too long.

Oh, yeah, I knew that.
The planner has no built in functionality to deal with Fred. Basically all you are doing is swapping a level 1 feat for a different level 1 feat. If you want to simulate that, just change out the feat at level 1 in the planner.
That's the best I can do for you. Trying to allow people to simulate what happens with feat swaps in the planner would be difficult to code and confusing for users (I mean, what would the UI be for it that would differentiate swapping a feat with Fred versus just changing a feat regularly, just for instance?). It's not something I want to try to put into the planner natively.

"The sword itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with swords."
This issues has been fixed and will be out with the next update.
This has also been fixed and will be out with the next update.
Lots of equipment will be borked for a little while, as we are in the middle of restructuring the equipment file and going through to fix all the items. One of the major fixes coming to equipment is that you should be able to calculate AC more precisely with equipment (Robes should be working in the version that is out). Unfortunately this will take some time as I want to make sure that we get all the other bugs taken care of first.

OK, found the quote where the Devs confirm +4 tomes in M9 (thanks Borror0):
From Ask the Devs #6.Eladrin: One of the big problems we have with upgrading characters from 28 to 32 points is retroactivity and things along those lines. It is something that we're always thinking about, but, uh . . . you need to not distract me in the middle of a sentence.
Tolero: I'm trying to help . . .
Eladrin: . . . but +4 tomes in Mod 9! Really?
Tolero: Yeah.
Eladrin: Really?!?
Tolero: that's what I was trying to tell you.
Eladrin: Oh, wow!
(Django, maybe?): Yeah, actually they will be in Mod 9.
Eladrin: I'm gonna go back to drinking my iced tea.
Jerry: Really, did we just get a confirmation of +4 tomes in Mod 9?
(Hard to place the voice to a name, Tharagrim maybe?): Yup.
Jerry: Nice. Well I guess that would sort of solve that problem then, wouldn't it.
Now can we get that increase in the planner?
