    Default Can't resubscirbe

    So I only get 1 day off work most weeks and don't get much time normally to deal with stuff like calling into your extremely limited hours of phone support.

    I had my girlfriend try to call for me while I was at work yesterday, and she sat on hold for over an hour before getting hung up on. On top of that, when she called yesterday it was an hour after the supposed "opening" before the recording stopped saying "Our offices are currently closed."

    Simply, I just want to reactivate my subscription, which was a pre-order account from before release. I like the changes I've read about, and want to play again.

    I update all my billing and profile info successfully, and get the message about "unable to update account info" when I try to subscribe. It says specifically on the screen "try again."

    So I do try again a couple hours later. My bank account now has TWO charges on it now for $1 from Turbine, which I'm sure will turn into $15 charges on Monday, but my account still says "inactive" on my act management web page.

    The kicker, I really want to play, and this is the only day off I'm going to get for a 15 day time span. This started on Thursday so I've been TRYING to get this straightened out in time for my day off, but was unable to.

    The phone support hours are about as unaccommodating as it gets for anyone that has a NORMAL life schedule, which I don't, so it's even worse.

    What really gets me is all the replies I'm seeing on these forums from Turbine that say 1 simple thing that anyone with half a a brain cell would think of, and then to CALL.

    Don't tell people to call when no one is working that 4 hour and 45 minute shift call center, which apparently only has 1 employee that has an attendance problem.

    /end rant

    Not that I'm expecting any help at this point, especially after this post, but if you could unlock my account or whatever is wrong with it, that would be super.

    Additoinal: I also submitted a ticket via the email form early yesterday morning. Naturally I haven't heard anything yet.

    Now I've got a THIRD $1 charge showing up in my bank account from Turbine, and my account status has changed from "Inactive" to "Suspended"

    "One or more of your subscriptions has been suspended due to non-payment. Please re-enter your billing information or apply a Game Card now to reactivate your subscription(s). Once you have updated your billing information successfully, all of your suspended subscription(s) will be reactivated for use. Click here to update your billing information now."

    That error message has not been present upon login until now. With 3 charges that I'm expecting to go through, why is my account status suddenly suspended due to non payment instead of Active with 3 months paid?

    Final notes

    4 days later the $1 charges finally fell off my bank account. Will they reappear as $15's? I won't be convinced they won't for another week at least.

    I ended up buying a new copy of the game on Direct2drive that did let me activate a new account. Will I go around this circle again when it's time to reup that one? It will be about in line with EU if they don't push it out again, but I still want to keep VIP status going.

    Not sure what I'll do if I ever need account support again, but if it's the same hassle I'll just stop supporting Turbine period. Why oh why do the companies that run the games I like to play usually have the worst support?

    I am sorry that you experienced this issue. We were aware of it and have now resolved it. The $1 authorizations won't convert to anything else. You will receive a response to your email as quickly as possible as well.

    You can now reinstate your original subscription if you like. If you have questions about the new subscription, please feel free to contact the Account Management department. Now that this issue is resolved, phone hold times should be much shorter.
