I ran across a term tonight I could not really figure out by reading on and thought I would ask here. What is piking in DDO? It was in relation to some dungeon as I gathered.

Some peeps use BS to also mean Bulls Strength (at lower levels) and Bark Skin at higher levels. Not finished reading so I may add a few more

IIRC (couldn't resist ) piking basically means that you leach off the party for xp. This normally means that after the quest starts, the person goes "afk" for a while as the rest of the party goes through the quest, does all the footwork, completes the quest just as you get back (or sometimes the person doesn't "come back" until the party is done, recalled, and disbanded). This allows them to get loot and xp without doing anyting in game to benefit the group.

If you are piking, it means that you are being a pileon (pilon?), or a person who is just "pileing on" the party and letting it carrry them.
