My mom came up with the perfect rebuttel for the toilet seat issue. Everyone woman has to sit on the toilet but a man doesn't always use the tiolet seat in the up position. This means that the toilet seat is used in the down position more than it is used up so it should be left down all the time. Besides have you ever seen a video of how germs escape a toilet when you flush it? Keeping the seat down reduces the amount of bacteria and germs in your bathroom.

No every woman does not. I wish I did not know this, but I have become well acquainted with the term "hover" (said practice, by the way, will mess up a toilet seat FAR worse than any guy with bad aim). Having spent my earlier years doing janitorial work (yay for E-1's!) I have learned a couple things about women and bathrooms. One is the "hover" phenomenon and the other is that as nasty as guys make a toilet, women are worse. Very, very, very, much so. I learned a few other things as well about females and bathrooms, but most I have managed to block out. /shudder. My bathroom became a lot cleaner once I got divorced.

Women should WANT the toilet seat up all the time, out of the way. If the arguement is cleanliness, then put a bleach tab in the toilet tank to kill germs and make everyone leave the toilet seat up all the time. Then put it down only when you need it. It will be much cleaner that way.

So, thine mother's arguement does not sway my opinion. More than likely she will want to not share toilets with me. I am sure everyone is ok with that.

Oh and the bacteria/germ thing. People stress this way too much. I know someone who is a clean freak. Every inch of her house is 99.99999% bacteria/germ free. Her kids are ALWAYS sick. We need some germs/bacteria to keep our immune systems boosted. Don't go overboard, I am not saying scrub the walls down with raw chicken or have a "who flung poo" contest, but evil germs escaping a flushed toilet? Call it a tetanus shot.

Yes everything went very well. She came home yesterday highly drugged up and I am making sure she doesn't have to do much of anything for herself. You still haven't conviced me of the toilet seat issue.

I have been busy and broke these past couple weeks. I have had 4 birthdays in the past 3 weeks just in my direct family (3 kids and the wife). all my time and money have gone to them.
Besides, if I get a new PS and it turns out to be something else, I think i will literally scream.
