Hi, my friend is trying to take the free trial and can't create the account because after the submit appears a error message on the screen: "System Error Encountered, please try back again later."
shetried many times and it always happens, tried with diferent names, passwords, etc.
and getting same message "System Error Encountered, please try back again later."

Yah its happening today only even before servers were down she was getting error message"System Error Encountered, please try back again later.".

Sometimes the bring the servers down early, and that was probably the account server that was giving the errors. Unless it was like more than 1hr before the game servers went down, I'd wait to see if they can get in after all servers are back up.

If it was more than an hour before the downtime, then I'm not sure exactly.

I had the same problem, and was trying since the weekend, and yet they can't create the free trial account, any ideia why?

It could be because Free 2 Play is starting so soon. Not sure though.

But we started trying more than 10 days before, it was july 24.

Started trying to make a Free To Play account? Not sure you can, you should be able to still do the 10-day trial (but with the F2P coming in less than 10 days, you may only be able to make a full account).

...but as far as the Free To Play, not sure you can set up an account until it goes live.

Only speculation, but my thoughts are that they disabled the 10-Day Trials at least on the day you tried (July 24th is 11 days before DDO:EU). Unless someone can confirm they've created a trial account on or after July 24th, I'd bet you'll have to wait

Ive had the same problem since the 24th as well so i had to wait til today and i had my friend send me a referral and it worked fine. Cant wait to try it out
