    Angry Lost My Gear

    I have an open ticket about this. On July 22 around 8:30-9pm CST I was in a rain in Shroud, we just started to beet on Hairy in the 5th part and the world sever booted everyone and sent us all to the beginning of the game, five minutes later after getting back to Maridia the world boots everyone again, so I log of for the night, the next day the 23rd my main too I was using for the Shroud run has no gear or invintory what so ever. I WANT MY GEAR BACK. I spent way too much time getting and crafting my stuff, I don't even feel like wanting to play this game until it is resolved. I have enjoyed playing this game since I started to play it, but now with my first toon being so gimped without his gear and he was one of two of my 16s. All so one of my guild members has the same problem, he was on the same run, his name is Disc.
    Top thing off, I am only 2 away from my 20th run through Shroud. As mad as I am about this, I can't even enjoy playing this game. I want to know what happen to my gear and inventory.

    "Greatings, Piehole. This is a Senior GM. Unfortunately -+Glandore+ I cannot see anything in the logs that would show that the items in your inventory and your equipped slots were deleted. I apologize, but we will not be able to replace or reimburse any items or money as a result of this issue."

    That is nothing but BS, they're just too damned lazy to replace what there world server caused! I spent way too much time getting and crafting all that gear and collecting those items, my toon is not playable cause of that!

    Default I have seen that before

    Happened to a good buddy of mine about a year ago. We had been running Coal chamber and the worlds crashed. He logged on 2 days later to a naked toon. He never got his stuff back and quit playing the game. I feel bad for you and it is just a crappy thing that happens. Good luck bud.

    I had a similar response to a mailbox bug that cost me a whole lot of gear including a GS blank and some tomes

    Call me ignorant, but I do not understand how they would not be able to tell if all of someone's gear was eaten by the game?

    OP, did you have all of your gear before you logged off, or was it deleted when you got booted from Shroud?

    Regardless, this totally sux and I'm sorry it happened to you.

    I just think that in-game customer support generally needs a LOT of work. Don't get me started on how long it has taken to get a GM when my groups have had bugs occur in quests.

    I hope that they step up customer service with the new mod and all the new players it's sure to bring, or the new players won't stick around long.

    Unless something has changed, F2P players don't have access to in game GM support except for harrassment and bug tickets.

    I lost a full ingredient bag in the mail and they told me there was no record of me every mailing any bag. I put a ticket in 2 min after mailing the bag. Also had all my high lvl toons gear/plat/pots stolen and once again they would do nothing to help me. They could clearly see what was taken . And they obviously could see who took it.

    LOL, As a SQL guy the above statement makes me laugh. Notice he did not say you did not lose the equipment, just that he could not see where a log showed you had deleted it.

    If I looked in a log and did not see transactions when the person owning the character had deleted or moved equipment and could see the equipment was gone after a crash and it was there before not only would it mean the crash had caused the loss but more importantly it would mean my transaction logs were not matching my database and that's a real problem... for Turbine, seeing as they are going to transactions involving real money real soon.

    Well, man, that is bs. Don't know what they can do about it though. On the bright side your toon is still there, you can probably clear out some bank space on all that gear that was collecting dust.

    Maybe your toon got copied to Risia?

    To the Op, How long have you had this charaster? If he is Old over 8 months he will be on lamania with that gear minus 4 months. This could actually give you leverage with turbine especially if you contacted them by phone with documentation Screenshot of the character on lamania and Knowing noone in their right mind would delete their whole inventory and belongings.
    Just a thought. By the way complaining here will not get you anywhere but being positively focused to pursue your solution with the ones that can help will.
